An ECS working from Southall to Bristol sees WCR Class 47/4 No. 47848 in charge, with LMS Black Five No. 44871 in light steam, on the climb to Savernake in excellent light on 17th August 2024, viewed from the vantage point of Bridge 99 on the Kennet and Avon canal approaching Crofton. The stock is expected to be working the Royal Duchy from Bristol TM to Par the following day.
