Conflicting movements at Exeter St Davids on 4th April 1983. An unidentified DMU is cautiously completing its steep descent from Central which will enable Class 33 No. 33005 to move forward through the station. This in turn will clear the down line for the departure of Class 50 No. 50020. Not surprisingly the barrow crossing indicator is at danger while this tangle is sorted out. At least the signalled up arrival has a clear run through.
