Class 47/0 No. 47269 sweeps round the curve with an Aberdeen service against a backdrop of Inverness airport on 13th August 1983. Just visible in the undergrowth is evidence of the former platform edge at Dalcross. Above and beyond are the hills on the Black Isle, the other side of the Moray Firth.
