Apparently a case of wrong line running on double track, but in fact the location where two of the branch lines out of Princes Risborough share an alignment before going their separate ways beyond the distant signal. Class 47/0 No. 47090 is bringing a rake of empty mineral wagons off the Watlington branch from Chinnor Cement Works on 14th October 1983. At this time Rugby Cement was delivered from the works by road although the coal and gypsum raw materials still came in by rail. The other track is the branch line to Oxford, still open then for deliveries to Thame oil terminal.
