Class 421/2 No. 7422 negotiates the triangular junction connecting with the Windsor branch at Staines, on the line from Virginia Water to Waterloo on 6th September 1983. It can be seen that the DTCs at either end have different seating distributions - the nearer one has the yellow roof-line over three bays, the other over only two. Also visible are the arrangements for the third rail around the diamond crossing.
