Class 26/1 No. 26038 stands at Inverness ready for a westbound departure, either for Kyle or the Far North, on 8th August 1983. The loco has famously survived into preservation in Scotland and now carries the name 'Tom Clift 1954 - 2012' in honour of the railman who was instrumental in making this happen.
