An unidentified Midland 4 car Derby DMU approaches its stop at Beaconsfield with a Marylebone - High Wycombe service on 13th May 1983. Removal of the through lines has left acres of space between the remaining running lines. The blue/grey livery sits particularly well on these DMUs but with up to 10 slam-doors on each side of a car they would be considered a severe safety risk from these central-locking days.
