Class 33/0 No. 33052 'Ashford' powers through on the main line at High Wycombe with the discharged oil tanks from Thame returning to Fawley refinery on 13th January 1983, a wintry day in the Chilterns. This inter-regional OJ working returned to the Southern via the Western. Start point Thame was on the original Wycombe Railway (GWR) and somehow found itself in the LM Region in BR days - note the lower quadrant home signal for trains leaving the bay.
