Newbury long before before electrification. On 7th April 1983 HSTs have taken over some of the premier services to the South West but the Western/Warship replacement Class 50s still have a role as No. 50034 'Furious' sweeps through, overtaking the DMU waiting to depart with the local service to Bedwyn.
