The ECS from yesterday's Royal Windsor Statesman is working back to Loco services at Southall, seen at speed running down the gradient from Savernake summit approaching Little Bedwyn on 3rd May 2024. Heard from far up the valley, Class 47/4 No. D1935 is working powerfully while ScotRail-liveried stablemate No. 47712 sits at the rear, looking nearly as incongruous with the chocolate and cream Pullman stock as the blue/grey kitchen car.
