Award-winning Pewsey has retained much of the character of its GWR origins, only marred by the intrusion of an optimistic modern electrification-ready footbridge. Class 66/5 No. 66558 trundles through with the Wembley Sidings to Merehead Quarry empties on 5th July 2022. It is quite common nowadays for this working to be a double train, as is the case today with Class 59/0 No. 59005 and its short rake of empties added to the end of this 45mph maximum consist.
