LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61264 is awaiting its next turn of duty at Amersham during the 'Steam on the Met' weekend on 17th May 1998. The loco is seen preserved in LNER apple green livery, numbered 1264 on the buffer beam (and cab-side) with a reference to 'Parkeston', commemorating its allocation to Depot 30F at some stage of its original working life. GWR 0-6-0PT No. 9466 is similarly waiting for its train on the other running line.
