The first run of the RHTT for this season on the Berks & Hants line, possibly associated with yesterday's very heavy Whatley Quarry to Dagenham Docks stone train losing 18 minutes on the climb to Savernake. It would appear that there will be No. exceptional motive power on these trains again this year as still EWS-liveried Class 66/0 locos No. 66170 and No. 66093 top and tail the steam cleaning wagons among the leafy surroundings of Hungerford Common on 13th October 2017.
