Signals are off for the arrival of this express from Aberdeen at Nairn on 8th August 1983. The driver in charge of Class 26/1 Nos. 26032 and 26024 is exchanging tokens for access to the next section of single track. The train has just passed the Nairn East box - Nairn West is at the other end of the near platform. It is not recorded whether the same man works both boxes.
