GWR Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 6998 'Burton Agnes Hall', one of the pioneers of Return to Steam on the main line, has attracted an enthusiastic crowd of spectators for the Cathedrals Express excursion running through Radley, just north of its Didcot GWS base, on 29th February 1992. The loco is clearly not burning the legendary, almost smoke-free, soft Welsh coal used by the GWR.
