On the left the 9-car IET No. 802106 forming the Paddington - Paignton service is meeting the 5-car IET No. 800034 with the 13:42 Exeter to Paddington, just pulling away from its Hungerford stop on 29th June 2023. This 'lost in the landscape' image makes a strong case for the contrasting chocolate and cream carriage stock of the original GWR, if only.
