Something of an anomaly this working, with DBC haulage of product from the Mendip quarries in MRL-branded wagons. Class 66/0 No. 66097 is in charge of this Westbury to Acton TC stone train seen at Hungerford on 19th May 2022. It seems to suggest that the transfer of the MRL contract from DBC to Freightliner has not gone as seamlessly as May have been hoped. A similar working was also seen recently with DBC hauling Freightliner-branded wagons.
