One of the services which presumably will be unaffected by the takeover of Mendip Rail operations by Freightliner is this 'customer collect' turn whereby GBRf delivers stone from Whatley Quarry to the Depot at Wellingborough. At the start of this week's operation on 14th January 2019, Class 66/7 No. 66778 'Darius Creskin' brings the empties westwards across Hungerford Common for loading during the afternoon and return this evening. This pattern May be repeated 2, 3 or 4 times with the same stock in the weeks that it operates.
