Class 421/5 'greyhound' 3rd rail EMU No. 1317 races along the L and SWR main line just west of Pirbright Junction on 21st March 1992 while another unit flies over the route, coming off the branch from Alton and descending to join the up relief line. The junction off the down relief can be seen underneath the unit on the bridge.
