GWR have recently restarted the regular local services between Paddington and Bedwyn using 5-car IET units after the fall back to DMUs to Reading during the Covid lockdown - just in time for a second wave of travel restrictions. Here the Gentle Giant 'John Charles' as IET Class 800 No. 800009 leads the formation round the severe curve into Kintbury at midday on 1st October 2020.
