Latest Romanian-built Electroputere LE5100 to join the TBD Tovarni Prevozi fleet is 46-014 captured thundering through Slivnitsa on 16th October 2024. Acquired in a poor condition from BDZ along with three other examples 46-014 was sent to Romania for a major overhaul at the Constantin Grup workshop in Calarasi. Following a period of ten years of lying idle and exposed to the elements at Karnobat this loco has been transformed and really looks the part in the striking TBD livery of red, white and blue. The empty coal hoppers will be exchanged at Aldomirovtsi with a loaded rake that will be ready and waiting for the return run having been tripped out via the non-electrified branch from the Beli-breg mine close to the Serbian border.
