This scene was recorded shortly after sunrise and before breakfast on 23rd September 2024 at Iliyantsi. Back in the Sofia area after 15 years are the Soviet-era Class 32 DMU sets. Working the SUB20213 (08:05) Sofia Central to Mezdra stopping service set No. 32-131/32-132 makes an interesting comparison with one of the SIEMENS DESIRO EMUs that were supposed to replace them. Class 31 Set No. 31-003/31-004 slows for the stop while assigned to train service SUB20222 (07:17) Lakatnik to Sofia. Emerging from the freight only connection to Voluyak TBD Class 06 No. 06-302 can just be seen in far distance.
