Scrap metal appears to be big business in and around the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia. What seems like a constant flow of scrap metal in box wagons is a regular if not daily sight in western Bulgaria. One such working is captured here at Iliyantsi on 26th September 2024, top and tailed by a pair of BDZ Cargo Class 55s. Led by 55-093 the consist will be moved to nearby Voluyak yard in preparation for later onward transit further west towards Serbia.
