Passing the long since abandoned weigh bridge at Svetovranche BDZ PP SKODA No. 44-191 has charge of train service FAST 4610 (14:35) Sofia Central to Ruse-Razpredelitelna on 14th October 2024. The consist of recently acquired former DB air-con coaches requires a SKODA electric to provide the motive power. The electrical systems of these Deutsche Bahn DB 'IC1' coaches are not compatible with the new BDZ SIEMENS Smartron Class 80 locos resulting in most long distance passenger services to Ruse, Varna and Burgas reverting back to SKODA Class 44/45 operation.
