The locomotive stabling point at Iliyantsi on 26th September 2024 hosts a variety of electric locomotive power. What stands out the most of course are the BZK Class 87 electrics which following many years of operation within Bulgaria are still very much active, still with a role to play amidst the influx of more modern designs, namely SIEMENS Smartrons. Of the latter 80-055 of newcomer to the private rail freight scene EXPRESS SERVICES in it's 'Stars and Stripes' inspired livery is seen on the left with a previously arrived freight working. Two BULMARKET examples are also present (far right). Leading a line-up of five Class 87s is recently refurbished 87-034.
