This rather dull and overcast scene recorded at Voluyak on 11th March 2024 is brightened up no end by a consist of New Holland TC590 Combine-Harvesters. The Class 06 Diesels were constructed by Electroputere in their Romanian facility in Craiova as indeed the body-side plate confirms. It also tells us that this rather tidy example 06-111 was built in 1973, one of one hundred and thirty examples delivered in small batches between 1966-1975. Although allocated to Stara Zagora shed 06-111 was noted at work in and around Sofia on various tripping duties during March of this year, (2024).
