This image recorded just to the east of Levski on 1st October 2024 was not what one was expecting to see. Gorna Oryahovitsa-based SKODA 44-180 with single coach is operating the ORD 20141 (13:05) Cherven-brjag to Gorna Oryahovitsa ordinary service, a working normally covered by an RVR Riga Class 32 EMU set. The same service was also noted SKODA-hauled three days later despite the BDZ online timetable saying MOTORCOACH, the term used for the Class 32 EMU. Whether this was just a temporary measure is unclear but with an RVR set currently committed to working the recently introduced daily Sofia diagram BDZ could well be a Class 32 short to cover this service.
