Bulgarian private sector operator BZK (Bulgarian Railway Company) Electroputere Class 40 No. 40-0797 at Slivnitsa with an eastbound freight on 16th October 2024. GFR (Grup Feroviar Roman), a subsidiary of the Romanian Grampet Group maintain a 50% stake in BZK so GFR Electroputere electric locomotives are still a regular sight in Bulgaria complete with their not so temporary front end and side panel stickers. Uncontrolled line-side growth is obscuring BZK Class 87 No. 87029 which is attached and assisting at the rear.
