The current location being used to terminate many services arriving into the capital from the north on MAIN LINE No. 2 is Sofia-Sever, captured here in this late afternoon image from 23rd September 2024. From left to right, SKODA 44-171 waits for alighting passengers from train service SUB20204 (15:25) Mezdra to Sofia-Sever to clear the area before running forward and performing a run-round manoeuvre. RVR EMU Set No. 32-131/32-132 waits to form a five minute shuttle service for those wishing to continue their journey into access restricted Sofia Central station. But many choose to use the excellent tram network directly into the city centre which is probably the quicker option. Double SIEMENS Class 31 and Class 30 EMUs are assigned to the SUB20203 (17:20) Sofia Central to Mezdra evening service which is just pulling away, next stop Iliyantsi.
