Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66515 works the grade at Ais Gill with the southbound 04:38 Killoch Scottish Coal to Fiddlers Ferry loaded hoppers on 27th September 2012. With the imminent closure of the UK's sole remaining coal-fired power station set to take place on 30th September 2024 scenes such as this of heavy coal workings across the Settle and Carlisle are now just a memory.
