Class 158 No. 158754 is pictured at Dent with the southbound 09:27 Carlisle to Leeds service on 10th August 2024. Dent station, remote and often wind swept is the highest mainline station in England sitting at 1,150 feet above sea level and situated four miles away from the village that it serves. Even on a bright day such as this there is always that feeling of deserted isolation at this location high on the fells.
