GWR King Class 8P 4-6-0 No. 6024 KING EDWARD 1 and BR Britannia Pacific Class No. 70013 OLIVER CROMWELL storm out of Whiteball Tunnel and over the summit with the Bristol to Plymouth DEVONIAN charter on 22nd October 2011. Eleven years and counting have elapsed since No. 6024 graced the metals of the West Country, still to return from an overhaul that was originally expected to take 18 months!.
