BDZ TP SKODA Class 43 No. 43552 waits for the road with a consist of tank wagons at Iliyantsi on 11th May 2023. Many of this freight-dedicated Class have received major over-hauls and repaints over recent months but clearly not this example. The Class 43 SKODA electric locomotives are referred to as 'fighters' by the local railway spotting fraternity. Many 'fighters' remain in service and are common-place throughout the Bulgarian Railway Network.
