In western Bulgaria, waiting for the road out of Voluyak is BDZ-TP (Bulgarian State run Railway Cargo Division) Stara-Zagora based Skoda 43-518 on 19th May 2023. It has a most interesting consist of newly manufactured New Holland combine harvesters in tow. New Holland, originally founded in 1895 in New Holland Pennsylvania is now a global company with it's European administrative headquarters at Turin, Italy. This colourful freight working has almost certainly come from across the Serbian border heading east. Whether the combines are destined for the Bulgarian agricultural scene or just transiting the country west to east is unknown.
