Under threatening skies BULMARKET Romanian built Class 55 No. 55-229 is busy working the yard at Iliyansti on 17th March 2023. These BULMARKET diesel shunters are regular workers at this location on LINE 2 just to the north of the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia, The plate on the lower front/side confirms that this locomotive is indeed a product of the 23rd August factory in Bucharest constructed and entering service in the year 1986.
