An unexpected rake of empty box wagons, usually coming this way loaded with Mendip stone, rushes through Hungerford on the New Year Bank Holiday 2nd January 2023. DBC Class 66/0 No. 66099, still looking fresh in its new livery with the hash tag 'WeStandWithUkraine' and national flag prominent on the bodyside, is in charge of the working which is ascribed the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering department. Clearly some non-revenue work is involved as the same consist is due to return empty later in the day from Acton to Westbury TC where it started earlier this morning.
