The German Class 193 and 194 heavy freight locos are generally known as krokodils due to their resemblance to the Swiss locos similarly designated, although not having their articulated bodies. Here a 1930s E93 No. 193002-3 is on the shed at Lauda on 10th August 1982, looking very much its age among the more modern electric and diesel locos.
