This is Iskar station to be found on the southeastern outskirts of the Bulgarian Capital Sofia. The main line (LINE 1) to Plovdiv and beyond into Turkey sees a variety of rail traffic both passenger and freight pass through this location. BDZ PP (Putnicheski Prevosi) Class 30 SIEMENS EMU set No. 30019/30020 is greeted by a decent number of the travelling public waiting to travel east on board the SUB 10223 (14:35) train service from Sofia Central. The destination screen informs us that this is the service for Kostenets but the on-line official BDZ timetable says to Ihtiman. Another day time bus replacement service perhaps. And yes, the station clock is not working. Well, this is Bulgaria after all!.
