BR Blue Class 45/1 No. 45118 THE ROYAL ARTILLARYMAN, working in top and tail formation with Class 50 No. 50050 Fearless, is captured at Ais Gill with THE NORTH WESTERN WANDERER railtour on 10th August 2024. The initial leg of the tour from Crewe to Carlisle was worked by the Class 50, the beautifully turned-out train captured running southbound over the S&C following reversal at Englands most northern City and now working the Carlisle to Preston leg.
