Major construction work is taking place between Sofia and Dragoman resulting in the route being closed to all traffic during daylight hours between 8am to 4pm six days a week. Bus replacement services cover the BDZ passenger services while freight workings are being re-timed during the early hours or early evening as recorded here. With the blockade lifted PIMK Rail BG Smartrons Nos. 80 019 and 80 011 run through Slivnitsa Spirka with an eastbound Intermodal train on 21st March 2024.
