Believe it or not, this is Bulgaria's Premier LINE 1 westbound from the capital City of Sofia into Serbia and Europe beyond. It cuts right through a highly populated residential area with dwellings on both sides of the track. Regular freight workings including Inter-modal workings from other European states pass through this very open and unprotected location. BDZ TP (Bulgarian State run Railway Freight Division) Electroputere Class 46 No. 46-040 is captured running L/E westbound through Slivnitsa on 10th March 2024, clearly illustrating just how close the mainline passes the parked vehicles of local residents.
