Railway photography before 9am during the month December can be a difficult task but when the subject omits a booked pathing stop and runs earlier then scheduled it can become a real challenge. Running seventeen minutes early through Seaton Junction with the NMT (New Measurement Train) in ISO 5000 lighting conditions Class 43 power cars 43013 Mark Carne CBE and former LNER-liveried 43272 working westbound with the Reading Platform 7 to Salisbury via Exeter New Yard are, despite the odds, successfully recorded on 14th December 2023.
