Class 117 suburban DMU No. L421 forms a Paddington to Oxford stopping service running along the down relief and just leaving Goring on 12th February 1981. This L (London) set probably still has No. W51401 leading with Trailer Composite W59511 and MBS No. 51359 at the rear. The two-tone livery looks more attractive and business-like than when the units were turned out in overall rail-blue.
