South West Trains weekday 10:20 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids service was normally formed of a two-car Class 158 and three-car Class 159. On arrival at Exeter, the Class 158 would be detached prior to operating the 16:36 Exeter to Honiton and the 17:46 Honiton to Axminster evening peak services. On 23rd December 2015, Class 158 No. 158880 and Class 159 No. 159010 arrive at Axminster running 'wrong line' into Platform 2. Bi-directional working was introduced following the reconstruction and reinstatement of the 'Up Main' line in late 2009.
