The reverse curves at Novi iskar on the northern approach to Kurilo station stop is the location where recently re-painted BDZ (PP) Skoda No. 44-178 is captured. It is seen working train service FAST 7625 Vidin to Sofia Central on 20th June 2017. By 2022 many of the BDZ Skoda electrics have received similar attention as this, the general outward appearance of the Skoda electric locomotive pool much improved to what it once was following the collapse of communism in the country .
