The main road into the northern Bulgarian town of Svishtov is unusually quiet on 8th September 2022, as BDZ (PP) Class 55 No. 55-196 gets underway with the mid-afternoon local passenger service. Working 'suburban' train service SUB 24207 (15:20) Svishtov to Levski it will take the Romanian manufactured locomotive with it's single coach consist all but an hour to reach it's destination.
