Refurbished 4 Cep units, later known as Class 411/5 Nos. 1593 and 1584 and 1578 have just descended the steep incline from Folkestone Junction and are crossing the swing bridge to Folkestone Harbour on 27th November 1982. At the start of winter the sun is shining and the sea is calm. The distant white cliffs extend to Dover and beyond round the east coast of Kent.
