PIMK Rail BG SIEMENS Smartrons 80-006 and 80-008 are captured parked up at Slivnitsa main station on 10th March 2024. The loaded intermodal service is facing and will ultimately head west across the Bulgarian/Serbian border with this container train. Such workings now make regular appearances as Bulgarias ageing railway network is being brought up to International standards. This location will eventually be by-passed when a brand new avoiding route currently under construction will cut through to the north of the town.
