Burgas-based PORT RAIL now dominate the scene at Pirdop having taken over the shunting contract from DB SHENKER (Bulgaria) in October 2019. This former BDZ TP (Bulgarian State run Railway Cargo Division) Class 07 No. 07-070 was acquired in late 2022 to address the need for a high power diesel for the shunting of heavy copper concentrate trains in and out of the Aurubis factory. The locomotive is captured at work on the Pirdop head-shunt on 9th October 2023.
