Sofia MPD-based SIEMENS Smartron 80-054 'King Boris III' heads north through Iliyantsi on 11th May 2023 with BDZ train service FAST 2613 (13:05) Sofia Central to Varna, scheduled arrival time at the latter 21:10 in the PM. The well trodden path between the running lines is what can best be described as the 'locals short cut'. Many if not the majority of stations in Bulgaria feature these public-made direct short cuts radiating out from the platform areas. They are particularly useful for railway photographers too!.
